Who is behind Cosmic Realm for Two?
Cosmic Realm for Two is the date-night side of Cosmic Realm Games, a one-person studio in East Tennessee. I’m a single parent who creates mysteries to bring people together around a shared story, a few intriguing clues, and the moment everything clicks.
Why mysteries for date night?
A shared mystery gives you something fresh to talk about. Compare clues, test each other’s theories, and enjoy solving something together. You work as a team, at your own pace.
Do you use AI?
The mysteries are human-created and reviewed. AI tools may help with graphics and website production. Read our AI Disclosure for more information.
Can I contact you directly?

What is Cosmic Realm for Two?
It is Cosmic Realm’s collection of mystery experiences designed for two people to enjoy together, with an emphasis on teamwork and conversation. CosmicRealmDates.com is the home of Cosmic Realm for Two.
Is this a dating or matchmaking service?
No. Bring your own partner or friend. We provide a mystery you can solve together; we do not match people or arrange dates.
Do we need to be experienced puzzle solvers?
No. Start with the free mini mystery, which includes optional hints and a complete explanation. Take your time and talk through your ideas.
Can friends play too?
Absolutely. The experience is designed for two people who enjoy solving something together. No romantic roleplay or personal disclosures are required.
Can I play alone or with a larger group?
The free sample has two clue sets and works best with two players. You can read both sets alone or discuss them with a larger group, but the experience is built around two people sharing information.
How long does a mystery take?
The free mini mystery, The Missing Midnight Toast, takes about 10–15 minutes. Future adventures will list their estimated play time when announced. Your pace and use of hints may affect the time.
Do we need legal training or other specialist knowledge?
No specialist knowledge is required for the free mini mystery. Everything you need to solve it is in the clues. Future adventures will explain any requirements on their own pages.
Planning Your Mystery Night4 questions
What equipment do we need?
For the free sample, use an internet-connected phone, tablet, or computer. A pen and paper may help with notes. Choose a comfortable place where you can talk and compare clues.
Can we play with one device?
Yes. Pass the device between you to read your individual clues, then compare notes. You can also open the sample on two devices and each read your own clue set.
Do we need to be in the same room?
The free sample can also be played while talking by phone or video call. Each player can open the sample and read a different clue set, then share what they discover.
Do we have to finish in one sitting?
You can take a break. Keep notes or leave your clue page open so you can pick up your discussion later. The free sample does not require a scheduled session.

Is the sample a complete paid adventure?
The sample is a free, short, self-contained mystery. Longer couples adventures are in development; their format, play time, and price will be shown when announced.
Can I buy a couples adventure or subscription now?
No paid couples adventure or subscription is currently offered. Try the free sample now and check the date site for future releases. The game site’s One-Box and Season prices do not establish pricing for future date-site adventures.
Can I give a couples mystery as a gift?
You can share the free sample link and plan a mystery night together. Purchasing or gifting paid couples adventures is not available yet; gift options will be described when those products are announced.
Shipping, Cancellations & Returns3 questions
Will anything be shipped for the free sample?
No. The mini mystery is played online, so there is no shipping charge or delivery to wait for. Any future physical adventure will state its contents and shipping terms before ordering opens.
Will trying the sample start a subscription?
No. The free sample requires no payment or account and does not start a subscription. Creating a player account does not purchase an adventure.
What are the cancellation and refund terms?
There is no paid date-site order to cancel or refund at present. Terms for future paid adventures will be available before purchase. If you have an existing Cosmic Realm Games order, contact us about that specific order.

What if we get stuck?
The free mini mystery includes optional hints. Start with a small nudge, talk through what it suggests, and reveal more help only if you want it.
Do hints cost points or money?
The free sample’s hints and solution are free and do not use hint points. Any hint system for a future paid couples adventure will be explained on that adventure’s page.
Can we see the complete solution?
Yes. The free sample includes the answer and an explanation. Reveal it when you are ready; once you know the solution, replaying will not have the same surprise.

Do I need an account to play the sample?
No. Both players can open the free mini mystery without registering or signing in.
Do I need another Cosmic Realm account?
No. Cosmic Realm for Two and Cosmic Realm Games share one account system. Your existing login works for both. Account services open on CosmicRealmGames.com so you can use the same login and account details.
Does my partner need a separate account?
Neither player needs an account for the free sample. Access requirements for future paid adventures will be stated before purchase.
Where can I update my account details?
Sign in through Player Login and open your player account to update the available account details. For changes you cannot make yourself, use our Contact page.

What should I do if the website breaks?
